questions about sorority recommendations

do you have to give the people writing you recs your transcript? my mother doesn’t want me to do that bc it’s private info, and the sororities themselves will have them. what should i say to the people writing recs that want them?

You should give them to your rec writers. Not sure how your grades are personal info...if your transcript has addresses and stuff like that on it that you don’t want them to see you could blur it out or something I guess

grades are a part of what she will look at/consider when writing u a rec, so it’s not really private and some rec forms if not all require addresses to be written
