what houses did you drop

Who cares? Everyone’s different and most people probably don’t even remember since pnms cuts after open house are pretty superficial since you barely have any time to talk to actives in the house. Also keep in mind that most of the time after open house, you don’t drop houses houses drop you. Unless you’re one of the few lucky ones that get 12 back, you can still have to go back to houses you tried to drop if they wanted you back

That’s going to be different for everyone. It’s not going to matter to you (or shouldn’t) why others dropped certain houses. Plus you aren’t really dropping them. You give your favorite 12 all 1’s. Then the 5 you like least you rank 2-6, with 6 being your least. But just bc you rank them as your bottom doesn’t mean you won’t get invited back to them. You probably will get some of them back.

I remember ranking these in this order

3. tri delt
4. theta
5. phi mu

adpi - tbh i couldn’t remember the conversation and got them and alpha gam confused
tri delt - also couldn’t remember what we talked about
theta - didn’t have the best conversation but i ended up getting asked back and they were cool
phi mu - the girl i had wouldn’t look at me and didn’t seem like she wanted to talk to me lol

Here’s who I ranked lowest and why:

Gamma Phi: very sweet girls, I just didn’t connect with the ones I talked to. My roommate ended up pledging them and loved them!

KD: I have never felt more unwelcome anywhere in my entire life. And I’m a southerner - from GA.

ADPi: I think I would’ve been happy in that house looking back now, but I did not vibe with the girls I spoke with during rush. I have met a lot of them and really like them now.

Alpha Phi: Nothing against them, I just knew it wasn’t a fit for me.

Sigma kappa: the convos I had were super awkward & I just knew it wasn’t a right fit for me
Dz: I really liked this house before rush cuz I met some of them beforehand but I did not vibe at all w the girls I talked to during rush but I am friends w a lot now
Aopi: I actually one of the best convos w them and they weren’t just superficial and they were super nice I just let what everyone said ab them get to me so I ranked them low & I regret that now
Agd: I did not vibe w them at all even tho I’m into grades and doing well but the girls I talked to acted like they thought they were above everyone

I just ranked three houses I knew were going to drop me and one that I just wasn’t into lol.

Gphi- didn’t have a great convo but ended up going back for philanthropy and loved it
KD- just knew they were going to drop me
Zeta and aphi- I wasn’t interested in a looks house and knew they probably wouldn’t be interested in me

I can honestly say I liked all the houses first round and had a lot of fun! I remember telling my RC after round 1 that I would be thrilled to be in any of them, so I actually had a pretty hard time deciding which ones to "drop" (I say with quotes bc as a pnm you don't really get a say lol it's more up to the houses)

DZ, GPhi, and Theta were absolutely fine and I liked the girls but my conversations there were just okay compared to at the other houses.
Aphi the conversation was actually good but I knew I would never fit in, like ever lol. And I knew they would be able to tell that I didn't fit in too
