I think people forget that 1. Black pnms have a choice of where to go just like any other pnm and 2. Too few rush each year for every house to take one (which isn’t how it works anyway). It’s totally possible that the Black pnms the past few years have not been interested in these houses.

Everybody wants one or two until they actually have them. Then it’s oh Lord someone said the n-word allegedly. But come to find out a sister said ....“Is that a knife?”
Attracting non- traditional PNM is going to require marketing/branding combined with genuine interest from both sides!

I am a WOC and can attest that I had no interest in these houses, and yeah part of it was because I didn't see a single WOC in those houses when I rushed. I was specifically looking for a sorority with as much diversity as possible; that was one of the most important things to me so of course I was more interested in the sororities with more WOC. Panhel needs to make a concerted effort to encourage WOC to rush in the first place, so that there's more diversity in ALL sororities, therefore attracting more WOC to rush. We need to sustainably diversify, starting with Panhel, and make sure that the WOC in each house are not just tokens and truly want to be there, and feel like they belong.
