What is the difference
by: pnmHey Y'all I'm super interested in Aphi, Pi Phi and Zeta could you please tell me how they are different from one another and what kind of girls they attract

I would say aphi is the most superficial, very much a looks based house and lots of dirty rushing. Also has the most scandals and worst retention rate/grades. Then Zeta which is also considered a looks house but still not the greatest sisterhood or involvement. A lot of big egos and fake tans but there are some genuine people. I think Pi Phi is the best out of these if you're looking for a genuine sisterhood while still being a generally "attractive" house. These girls are very sweet and involved but definitely know how to have a good time. (coming from someone not in any of these houses, just my opinion based on the girls i've interacted with)

girls like different houses for different reasons. there’s nothing wrong with it because no one is the same and every house has something good to offer. you sound insecure ppl aren’t picking your house. “steer clear and pick my house instead” oh please. not saying you’re a pi phi at all but telling people to steer clear of any house shows me you just want your house’s return rates to be higher.

I’m just surprised that out of all of our awesome houses, Alpha Phi would be top three for anyone on the first day. Pi Phi is respected, decent grades, decent involvement and cute girls. Zeta has gorgeous girls, but poor grades and involvement and let’s be honest here, their reputation on campus is not good.

Pi Phi competes with Old Row for OOS girls.
Girls that come in wanting Zeta aren’t going to be interested in AXO, XO, AGD, KD, KKG or DDD.
The only old row house that competes with Zeta is Phi Mu.

The top girls at zeta went far with old row last year but in the end got cut for grades or rep then land at zta...

As mentioned in a previous thread, I would agree with the usual rankings (as a member not in any of these) and say that Zeta is the most popular of New Row because of looks and status. The Zetas I have hungout with are all obviously very pretty girls and they were a lot of fun. I had no problem with them at all but obviously there’s many girls in the house so NO ONE can truly say how each girl is/isn’t based on the house they are in. In no way am I trying to say that Zeta is the best house here, but if you are 1. aiming for new row 2. good looking and 3. like to have a good time then this is probably your best bet.
Alpha Phi is becoming increasingly popular among pnms and in my personal opinion it’s because of the 2-3 members with huge followings they took this past PC. A very strategic way to raise their status, especially after the scandals they have had in the past. The Alpha Phis I have hungout with were also nice, but maybe a little more materialistic than other girls here. I do think Alpha Phi is “easier” to get into than Zeta and Pi Phi, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that a pnm wouldn’t enjoy their membership. Again, becoming more of a looks focused house. Still not the best reputation (because of the scandals and their swaps being taken away by Panhellenic), but I do think they will improve in the coming years.
Pi Phi is more of a mix of girls which is attractive to many pnms. The Pi Phis I have hungout with were friendly and super laid back. Pi Phi doesn’t stand out as much as other houses on campus, but I do believe they have a good membership. If you are looking for a laid back house where looks don’t play a part this house is probably your best best.
Out of all 3 the only one that might raise a few red flags is Alpha Phi and it’s simply because of their past. They can’t do much about it now, so after a few more PCs I think they will be able to raise their grades/retention rates.
