Not sure how they can justify that with all the new data and stuff the cdc is finding out about it that basically proves that we way overreacted to it...guess we’ll have to see how these next few months play out since all these regulations are fluid and subject to change at any time

Lol what? An attack on the greek life community? You do realize there is older faculty and staff right? Were in a pandemic, and thousands have died. Yes, youre right about the bars. The school cannot tell students to not go to bars. But, the school can tell greek orgs to not congregate, or throw parties. This is almost certainly going to happen too because the events are on-campus, meaning they have control over them. Idiot.

Swap are registered parties. So if this is true then yes. But I haven’t heard this “news” anywhere but this site yet so I wouldn’t worry about it tbh. I doubt this person is a reliable source

Especially since the plan they rolled out didn’t say anything about limiting class sizes for the fall semester, only for summer. If I can be in classes with 250+ people, how is that ok but being at a party with those same people isn’t? And obviously bars will still be open for people to still be up close and personal with each other in a “party” setting. Choosing to ban registered parties only honestly feels like a direct attack on the Greek community
