viewing this board: this is not how most greeks at this university talk. these are just freshman who are too caught up in their newfound fraternity pride and other emotions to use it in a normal way so they come on here and argue like 13 year old girls.

the fraternities here get along very well and 100 times better than it may seem by viewing this board. after freshman year no one cares about what house is this and what house is that and most people are just out to have a good time. im in and old row fraternity but i attend a couple new row fraternities partys from time to time (when my house is not doing anything special) because i have friends in those houses and they do the same with my house and other houses. this may not be the case with everyone, but generally the houses people view as "the top 8" get along really well. there're alot of great houses here so just find where you fit in, the "top 8" fraternitys here are all interchangable based on preference. roll tide

Dke, sae, ka, phi gam, sigma nu, theta chi, pike,ato or sigma chi

for most its just about being in the greek community. The top 8-10 get along great. I would say the top 8 in no particular order are:

dke, ka, sae, sigma nu, pike, phi gam, theta chi, sigma chi

as the one who wrote it i base my top 8 on a few factors.

how much GIRLS like them ?
do they through enough good parties ?
are they talked about on campus A LOT ? are they popular ?

having said that here is my top 8(in no order):

sigma nu, theta chi,DKE, pike, SAE, phi gam, ATO, KA

there are a few other houses that are good (lots of members and decent reputation) they just dont make the top 8 cut because they dont throw enough parties or are not popular enough with girls
