Aside from that my best advice would be to look into SAE, DKE, KA, ATO, Pike, Sigma Nu, Theta Chi, Phi Gam, Sigma Chi, Lambda Chi, Pi Kapp, Phi Delt or maybe Beta (im not a big fan of them). About how many fall bids do the top 10 fraternities give out? 5? 10? 15?

Disregard 90% of what you read in these boards. Do yourselfma favor and pick a handful of fraternities and go visit them for yourself. I promise you, you will think you are I. The best fraternity if you choose from one of the following as they are all pretty interchangeable with minor difference:

DKE, Theta Chi, SAE, Pike, KA, ATO, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, Phi Gam

They all have large pledge classes, have nice houses, attract pretty girls, have great parties and have solid brotherhoods. Promise, you will be happy at any of these. Many will argue that I should add LXA, Pi Kapp, and Phi Delt to the list so check them out too if you wish (not as strong in my opinion but that's cool). Good luck

I agree with the kid below me. And I think he named everywhere you need to go. I'd go ahead check out LXA, Pi Kapp, and Phi delt too. Im not one but I've got 7 good friends combined between them who are pretty good guys. And like the kid before that said, if nothing else, free beer is never bad

Ever notice how everyday the rankings within the top 12 shift around but the top 12 are the same fraternities except for an occasional appearance from Phi Delt? Im not saying that all houses are the same cause there are definitely some that are a significant amount better than others, but as long as you stick to one of the houses in the top 12 you'll be pretty set and respected.

Why is it taboo to call Phi Gamma Delta Fiji at Bama? I'm just curious cause I don't know of this being true anywhere else.
