Is it hard to get a bid from one of the houses mentioned below? I'm worried that I won't get into one of those houses because I can't do any summer rush, and my Greek experience will suck. About how many bids are these fraternities going to give out?

My suggestion is to try to get to know some of the brothers my emailing, contacts, Facebook, twitter, calls etc. It's true that most of the bids are given out in the summer months but everyone of the fraternities listed below will have a handful of bids available in the first couple if weeks of Fall. Be sure to visit fraternuties during Bama Bound, that will help. (call first to make sure someone will be around). Good luck and don't get too worked up over it.

These fraternuties typically have 40-55 in their pledge classes. It's true that the fraternuties with bigger/newer houses will take a few more because they have debt to pay off. Pike & ATO have the newest houses and Sigma Chi is moving into their new house in the Fall. Good luck

If you go SAE, DKE, KA, ATO, Pike, Sigma Nu, Theta Chi, Phi Gam, Sigma Chi, LXA, Pi Kapp, Phi Del you can't go wrong. All very great fraternities.

most of the fraternities mentioned give out 45-60 bids. My guess is that they have 5 or more left in the fall.
