No, it's not possible to get into an old row fraternity coming from out of state... They are all from Alabama....

But in all seriousness, there are out of state guys in all of them. Just depends on if they like you. if you know people in the fraternity already that helps a lot too

I know there have been a fair amount of New Orleans kids who are in DKE. Or at least have been in the last few years.

New Orleans, you will fit into a new row better than old row. There is NO difference between the rows. Old row has great and weak fraternuties & new row the same! I suggest you take a strong look at the top new row Sigma Chi, Theta Chi, Pike, ATO & Beta. Good luck

Whats your opinion of phi delt? Am I the only one that foresees them gaining some respect over the next few years? Old row + new house= good pledge classes

their new house is nothing special and looks exectly like their old one, just in a worse location now. as far as them being old row,no one cares that they're old row. they're still a really average fraternity. The new house will help a little and being old row does not hurt but if you're choosing a house soley because its old row then you're a moron. the other old row houses are all good in thier own way but its not because they're on a t-shirt. its because they have upheld their traditions and do a great job recruiting. so dont expect much change for the phi delt guys, they'll continue to be very average

What are the chances of a transfer student getting into a decent house? Make any difference?

i know a few kids in good houses that were transfer students, if they like you it wont really matter much. hopefully you have already been rushing otherwise your wayy behind. that will hurt you more than being a transfer student
