fraternity comments

I'm in an old row fraternity and after your freshman year nobody cares if you are old or new row and for that matter what fraternity you are in. It's more about having a good time and being Greek. Some of mu best friends are in New Row fraternities and I go to their parties and they come to mine. I will tell you that there are fraternities at Bama that are better than others which I'll list below but seriously, at the end ofnthe day. It doesn't matter, it only matters where you are most comfortable and where you fit in. I suggest you forget all the rankings, being from Mobile or Atlanta or the North and check out the ones you think might fit you. My list is just a known fact but it doesn't mean that the other 20 aren't good too. Also know that there's lots of debate over how to rank the top 10. It's personal. I can tell you that for the most part, there are few differences in the top 10

The "dear freshmen" post below is definelry recommended reading for every freshmen considering going Greek. It's so true. Truly, freshmen are the only ones who care to say who's better and by their sophomore year it turns to everybody hanging out w everybody and being Greek. I will tell you that any Machine backed fraternity is great and you all can pretty much figure out who they ate as you see them over and over again in the comments. A will tell you a few are missing from most lists so please consider them too. For your reference, I'll list fraternities I would consider as a freshmen (I'm old row)

DKE, Phi Gam, SAE, Sigma Nu,Sigma Chi, Phi Delta Theta, KA, pi kappa phi, Pike, theta Chi, Beta

Does new row seem a bit overly sensitive about it this year? They continually mix the strength with the lame on the boards. Now the In Response rant.

The Beta was wearing the old row shirt because that's what he wants to be. Now, relax.

That's total BS and you know it. Again, I'm NOT a Beta lover but it just irritates me the absolute and utter errogance. It's like saying we say an old row guy wearing a new row shirt. It's absurd. Now, you relax and get over yourself.

how you rank those 10 is really opinion based but those are the houses that are the most popular and most fun.
