Any opinions on Chi Phi?

Top Tier:
DKE SAE KA
2nd:
sigma nu, sigma chi, phi gam, phi delt, theta chi, Pi kapp
3rd: Pike, beta, ato
4th: Kappa Squid, Dah tee dah, rambda guy, maybe sigma pi if they're lucky.
5th: Delta Chi and the others

Who's either building a new house or moving into someone else's house next year? If they're moving, who's house are they taking over?

Tiers below are so off it's laughable. My guess is it's posted by a Pi Kappa Phi. Nice try!! Bottomline, the following are the best at Bama and it just depends on where you fit in:

DKE, KA, SAE, Theta Chi, Sigma Chi, Pike, Sigma Nu, Phi Gam, Beta, and maybe ATO & phi Delt

Alright, so next year I will be a freshman at Bama and definitely plan on rushing. the problem is that I'm from the north.

My question is, do you think I could realistically get a bid from one of the better 2nd/3rd tier fraternities, even though I'm from the north? As of right now I'm really interested in Phi Gam, PIKE, Sigma Chi, and Theta Chi. I plan on going to a lot of their summer rush events, but I want to know if it's going to be a waste of my time to try and get a bid since I'm a "Yankee".

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Being from the north is not a problem so you can drop that right away. All 4 houses you mentioned pledge northerners and they are all good fraternities. Come one down: you'll have the best years of your life. It will take some getting used to but after the adjustment period ends you will find that you love the south! So get on down here, blueboy!!!!!

Get over to the Pike house and we'll slam a couple natties

Pike, Sigma Chi & Theta Chi are all top fraternities at Bama and are considered to be the best of new row and you would be thrilled to get a bid from any of them and they all pledge northerna, so no worries!
