Which fraternities throw the sickest parties?

Old Row:
SAE & KA's have the best parties

New Row:
Theta Chi's & Pike's have the best parties

Can anybody tell me about Kappa Sig - I know it is/was the Beta chapter @ UA but something happened and they're gone - as a KE from up north with a son headed to UA next year just trying to point him in a solid direction - thanks.

They were kicked off because 3 girls were sent to the hospital 2 years ago, and they said that they had access to liquor at Kappa Sig. They got thier charter back, and are still in the same house now.

And destroy the "Top tier" fraternities! Why would we vote a sigma nu as president? No to calderone!!

Just curious, do Phi Gam, sigma nu, sigma chi, theta chi, and pike accept northerners?

Think you will find New Row fraternities ie Theta Chi, Sigma Chi & Pike more accepting than old row although I'm certain they have some. Go on each fraternity website and pull up past Fall Newsletters (some have newsletters all the way back to 2004)and they will list names & hometowns of new initiates. I looked recently for fun and old row are heavily populated w in state. As i recall, DKE, had close to 50% from Mobile, Alabama, the rest in state and maybe one or two from Atlanta!Theta Chi, SIgma Chi, Pike have more of a mix of in and out of state. FI noticed Sigma Chi, Thera Chi & Pike heavily populated w Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Palm Beach can't really recall many/any past the mason Dixon line but don't think they'd really care. Good luck and no worries! We have 30 fraternities and have one for everyone! I wouldn't focus on the Northern thing as it doesn't matter! Go where you are interested and you will know if you fit in!! I'd also check out Pi Kappa Phi, Beta, ATO. They are all very good new row fraternities too. Good luck and welcome
