The only one I never understood was DKE. I'm sure they can be, and likely are the traditional powers at Bama. But doesn't national, or even SEC prestige mean anything? If I was rushing again I would never go DKE. You are strong at like 1.5 SEC schools.

has a lot of strong SEC chapters as does Phi Delt (of old row). Several of the new row houses are also pretty big Southern/SEC powers as well. I don't even go to Bama, nor am I a DKE, but y'all's DKE chapter is both the oldest fraternity chapter in the South and possibly the best. Also even if DKE is small, they are incredibly consistent, and have a higher percentage of great chapters than about anyone (plus 5 US Presidents).
