So the Delta Chis think they're the 7th best house on campus? Thats a lie. The theta chis think they're 4th best? The Lambda Chis think they're 5th best? The Pikes think they're number 1? The Delta sigs, Kappa sigs, and DTDs think that they matter? And of course the ATOs think that they matter, which is the second worse lie besides the fact that the Phi Delts think they have anything to their name besides an old row sticker they can put on the back of their used 1997 F:150s. I think that this whole campus needs a reality check. First check goes to Phi Delt. Second is awarded to Delta Chi and last but not close to least goes to Theta Chi. Rated too high and, frankly, nobody likes you. At all.

The University has gotten too large and has gotten too many out of state students that simply think the whole Old Row thing is just plain goofy. Old Row also suffers by being exclusive to in state students and 3rd and 4th generation legacies (legacies can kill a fraternity). New Row (also once exclusive to mainly in state, or at least Southern students) has taken advantage of this and now leads in numbers and campus dominance. It is an unfortunate fact. But as the saying goes, things change.

isn't dying. Its houses range from best to okay. New row is taking advantage of out of state kids and the albatross of legacies going to old row that are unqualified. The out of state kids aren't a bad thing, because the U of A is buying talent to upgrade academics, and talent is never a bad thing. Old Row will only die if it refuses to recruit the best kids.

What are you smoking New Row queer? Old Row will always dominate, New Row might lead in numbers but not quality. New Row does not have as strong an alum base as Old Row and numbers means $$$ and New Row needs it. New Row Campus dominance? Hardly...they'll always be inferior in reputation. And New Row people deep down know it.

"and new row people deep down know it". This why they are constantly feeling that they have to slice up old row on these posts. New row has alumni, too. But their alums don't push for their offspring to go new row. My "dying" old row house had more rushees this year than we ever have.

But what happened to Phi Delt (and longer ago, KE) CAN happen to one of the 4.5 strong old row houses left (I think EN sucks, but that it is temporary).

A slower death could happen to KA (or a little slower for SAE) if they continue to pass up OOS talent in favor of only 'Bama kids. Money is nice, but if everyone thinks you suck, word gets out eventually and your house will crash and burn.

2 posts below. This webiste promotes hatred among the houses. Is wasn't long ago that we all got along, for the most part, because we followed the same conservative philosophies. Especially, the affiliated houses, we were "ONE". I too, encourage individuals to leave this website. It is not promoting what we as Alabama Greeks ultimately stand for.

it's because this site sows dissension that it sucks. Got nothing to do with old row butthurt? Unity was great so long as everyone yes manned SAE, DKE,KA,Phi Gam ---- and it was also part of the unity deal that we had to include the weak sisters EN and Phi Delt. That wasn't unity, that was tyranny.
