I'm an incoming Freshman who is looking for a highly respectable Fraternity. Although, being an OOS, what are the realistic Fraternities that I should look for?

I think pledges/rushees ought to know where houses really are rated. This is mine and I doubt most people would honestly disagree.
1. SAE, DKE, KA, Theta Chi
2. Pike, Phi Gam, Sigma Nu, Sigma Chi
3. ATO, LXA, Pi Kapp, Phi Delt
...they're all pretty good, nobody else is very respected but honorable mention I guess would be Delta Chi, Beta, maybe Kappa Sig

You say he is "maybe a theta chi"? Get real. Of course he is.Only theta chi would rate themselves top tier or anything greater than real effin average at best. There's about 8 houses above the nancys.

For example, a couple weeks ago when it looked like Theta Chi and Sigma Chi were downranking ATO .... do you think that was a lover's spat between the houses, or maybe jealousy of a OX that his bro was taking ATO lovers?

You look to be a troller to me, but I'll bite ....
I don't speak for all houses, but my house is at the point historically where I think we have the courage to consider any honorable man who shares our values. There are some houses, and some members of my house that value freedom of association so highly that they do not want to be pressured. There are others (I believe a far smaller percentage) who do not wish to admit racial minorities.
