The "Tradition" ranking is just that. Generally the oldest houses are going to have contributed more in terms of SGA (or previous equivalent) etc. The word "Tradition" indicates it is not "current day".

That said, certain houses have carried that tradition into the modern day: old row, more or less, and some others have continuously run this system for decades. These houses are said to be irrelevant by the jackals and morons on this site who have been here for 5 minutes and judge life on who had a good party last week!

Without tradition your fraternity is nothing and this University is nothing. If folks can't understand than I feel sorry for them, and if they think it doesn't matter, than a spot in the Greek system is wasted on them.

Sounded like you were ranking the current relevancy. Kappa Sig, DTD, and Phi Delt for instance wouldn't be ranked above SX, OX, Pike, Pi Kapp, etc currently. Not to mention your great grandparents could have been in most of the good "New Row" chapters.

I think pledges/rushees ought to know where houses really are rated. This is mine and I doubt most people would honestly disagree.
1. SAE, DKE, KA, Theta Chi
2. Pike, Phi Gam, Sigma Nu, Sigma Chi
3. ATO, LXA, Pi Kapp, Phi Delt
...they're all pretty good, nobody else is very respected but honorable mention I guess would be Delta Chi, Beta, maybe Kappa Sig

I could maybe change 1 or 2 around but I agree with that list. Hardly anything at all to argue over.
