What sororities do Louisiana girls typically join?
by: CherI’m totally excited to meet girls from all over but I feel like joining a sorority with some girls who’re from the same state will help me feel less home sick. Bonus points if i find some others who’re Cajun and speak French like me :) Don’t get me wrong though, I’ll be grateful for a bid from wherever will take me. I’m just curious if there’s a certain sorority the Louisiana girls like.

Of course. I’ve traveled to other states before to visit cousins and when I talk to their friends I’m pretty mindful of regional differences when trying to communicate. However I’m proudly Cajun, and it’s part of my living experience. It won’t be the center of my conversations in recruitment, because there are many aspects of myself to show, but I don’t really intend on diluting who I am. As I’m sure will be the case for Texas girls as well when they rush too.
