Greek life here is.......
by: Not from AlabamaSo since I was bored I decided to check out the self proclaimed “best Greek Life in the nation” Greekrank Page. My God this is a mess. I got to a Midwest school where we have a pretty Greek life presence, arguable the best in the Midwest. But my god we are not as shallow as Alabama. You got girls on here literally describing themselves and asking if they look okay enough to fit in. That to me is so shallow and super cringe to be honest. And if all you have to offer to someone’s college experience is Greek Life, I honestly think that’s a little sad. Maybe try excelling in academics too😘😘😘

Can y’all stop? The people asking if they’ll fit into certain houses are obviously not current actives, so I’m not sure how that could reflect on our Greek life here, and all our comments on those post are always telling them to stop. You’re really reaching and grasping at straws here. Give it up and stop posting on our page

Why is Greek Life so big in places like Alabama and Mississippi anyway? I guess it’s because there’s nothing else to do.

sorry, it’s just a southern thing. for most people, it’s long standing tradition that you go greek in the south and most people come from multiple legacy families. midwest greek life just isn’t the same caliber as southern, coming from a girl who was raised in the midwest. it’s just a different type of family and you truly are joining a large legacy if you join greek life down south. sorry!
