living in sorority house

how does the house choose who can live in? i know all houses are different on who can live in but obviously majority have sophomores live in house with some upperclassmen/exec members. if a house does allow sophomores to and i want to live in, how would i do that? like how they choose? i for sure want to live in (whenever the house allows it) so i’m just curious how it happens. (please no one come on here saying wOrRy aBoUt gEtTiNg iN a HoUsE fIrSt)... i already know someone will say that, i’m just curious and want to know how it gets selected who can live in if there isn’t room for everyone. thanks in advance
