bashing engineering majors
by: omgI saw in another post that when rushing, some houses will say you’re boring for majoring in things like engineering?! That’s crazy! Please let me know if this is true. I’m an incoming freshman who loves to party but is also going to be majoring in Engineering. Which houses judge girls’ majors so i can AVOID THEM LOL.

This is honestly the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Imagine not picking someone because of their major and what they are trying to do after college. I’m all for partying, but you are going to school for an education. I always wondered what these srat girls did after college anyway. Imagine thinking Greek life is the biggest thing you could get out of a college experience. You devote your entire four years to get drunk and then have nothing to show for it after

she wasn't saying she was gonna change her major she just wanted opinions on the houses that care... she literally said she wanted to avoid the houses that wouldn't want her bc of her major.

Go for a house that focuses on academics and you’ll find other girls in stem majors. And also a lot of girls that like to party.
XO, AGD, DG, AOPi, AXO, Theta
And once you graduate you will find yourself as the boss and you secretary will have been a Zeta or Alpha Phi.

My house has a low GPA overall and we don’t care what major a PNM has. We also have plenty of engineering majors. I’ve never heard anyone talk about cutting girls for their major before, it’s usually assumed that as long as you have good HS stats you can handle whatever you’ve chosen

“Looks” houses like zeta, pm, aphi, typically stay away from girls in engineering or any hard/STEM major tbh. I’m sure every house has a handful, but they don’t have very many. I’m in engineering and there’s a lot of thetas, aopis, dgs, chi os in my classes compared to other houses. I’m sure there’s other houses too, but those are the ones I’ve noticed
