pref to bid day
by: pnmif both of the houses u had at pref “give u a bid” do u just automatically get a bid to whatever house u ranked as #1? or how does that all work? i don’t get the pref-bid day process and how it all works in seeing which house u end up in. are u required to tell one house u don’t see yourself in it, and tell the other house u do? i’m just confused HAHA sorry

As long as you don’t suicide bid, both houses will rank you on their bid list. You’ll receive a bid from the house that ranks you higher than the other basically. It’s a little more complicated than that, but that’s the gist. So if you really want a certain house and you don’t really want the other one, you can tell the one that you really like them and can see yourself going them, and tell the other that your heart is with another house. That way, (hopefully) the house you didn’t want as much ranks you lower than the house you want
