To a great extent, no your major does not matter. If you have a very difficult major, it WILL affect you in a handful of houses looking for ‘fun’ girls since you cannot talk about partying and things that would otherwise fulfill the giant knock down you get from Engineering and similar degrees.

^100% agree. Certain majors automatically get labeled as boring by certain houses (typically houses with lower GPAs) but by NO means should you lie about your major or choose your major based on what a handful of houses prefer. You’re much better off in a house that accepts you for you and has other girls in your major that can study with you and help you in your classes
