what types of things get you dropped
by: pnmwhat are the things pnms get dropped for before or during recruitment? i’m not asking bc i want to “change my personality” or whatever bc i saw that accusation on another post, i’m just curious

basic things like gpa it’s better to have a 3.0+ but there are some girls who get a bid with a 2.75 another is your appearance if you don’t look good then most likely a sorority will not want you unless they don’t care ab looks next would be personality and some sororities it’s where you’re from then others it’s if you have recs

yes and no it kind of depends on if everything else is perfect you definitely will get fewer houses back than a person with a 3.7 but there’s still a chance you can at least get 4 houses back with a 3.0 if you check all of the other boxes

There’s other things besides grades. If you’re kind of famous some houses won’t take you. If you had a sibling or are a legacy for another house some houses may not take you because they assume you’ll go that house. If they think you’ll be a standards risk some houses may not take you. For some houses it’s really shallow stuff like looks or money or where you’re from but mostly it’s the other stuff and grades are probably the biggest reason
