Is honors compatible w greek life?

by: honors???

Can anyone speak to the workload of the Honors College and whether or not it’s compatible with being in a sorority? Does it give a PNM an edge if they are in honors?

Greek life is very compatible with being in the honors college. Doesn’t necessarily give you an edge as a PNM but speaks to your GPA and ACT score as well as your work ethic. Workload isn’t bad, you’re taking the same classes you would take for your degree anyway and getting honors and regular credit at the same time. Some honors courses are easier than the original

Sororities have required study hours (the amount varies w every house) while you’re a new member/first semester.

Your major has a way bigger impact on your experience than whether you’re in honors or not. But I have sisters in pre-med and engineering fields that also go to all the parties and go out. It’s all about time management
