PNMS ONLY: rank the houses

Rank the houses based on your interest before rush!! Not what you think is “top tier” or the “best” but what you want the most. I know a LOT of girls do this (I did) so feel free to share. Here’s mine from when I was an PNM as an example. This obviously changed a lot throughout rush but these were my thoughts going in and I’m just curious about others.

This is the dumbest thing you could possibly do. No better way to set yourself up for disappointment. You’ll either be devastated by losing a house you think is incredible or realizing they’re not as great as you made them out to be. Word of advice, PNMS, do NOT do this. It’s one thing to have your eyes set on a couple houses, but don’t revolve your entire rush experience around them. You genuinely do not know as much about these houses as you think until you talk to them during rush. Also try not to be fooled by the glitz and glam of rush. Focus more on how the girls treat you interact with each other. See if you feel valued and can see yourself being friends with the types of people you talk to. Best of luck.

i will say i’m from oos but still know plenty girls that are going to be rushing too and we’ve talked briefly ab what houses we want and every single person i’ve talked to wants new row houses, more “pretty houses” more. also, “looks houses” are just simply more desirable for MOST pnms tbh. sorry not sorry

^ simply not true. we are acting like there aren’t new row houses that have involved, good-looking alabama girls. It’s really not that hard to figure out that some of the new row houses are desired now. literally look at the girls who are following you and where they are from...? obviously each house is going to have some alabama girls. so tired of the narrative that southern girls only look at old row lol. grow up

I didn’t say new row, I specifically said looks houses. Adpi, pi phi, aopi, dg all have plenty of southern members.

I know the order of this list seems a little untraditional but I’ve met some actives and am also a legacy in some of these.

I’m one of the girls who put pi phi in my top 4 and I meant it, obviously just judging off social media and a few actives I know, but I’m OOR and they seem chill but fun even if I know they’re not top

The poster literally said their rank changed they just wanna know what their rankings now are. Almost every pnm does this, there’s barely a difference between this and the “most desired house” thread. Pnms are allowed to have an idea of who they want ahead of time, theyre adults, pretty sure they understand the concept of not setting high expectations and understanding what they like could change.
