Importance of legacy

i’m a direct legacy for an upper middle tier sorority but my mom didn’t go to bama, does this have any advantages for me?

if it makes a difference it’s a new row sorority and it’s top tier at her school

They won’t care what her chapter was like at her school. It will help you more with new row houses than old row ones. Legacies in old row really only help if they were at Alabama.

you will prob get an invite to philanthropy round but no real advantage after that.

Depends on the house. If they like you then you get a bid if not then you dont. most houses care more about you and your gpa
