worst conversations during rush

Funny enough after rush me and my older sister had a convo about this and both had the same answer: KD. OOS and northern, and as soon as we told the girls we talked to, they started acting like a brick wall. Not necessarily rude by what they said, but their disinterest was clear and make them seem snobby. I know a few nice girls in that house, so idk if it was just ironically the two girls me and my sister talked to, but either way bad convos.

I had the worst conversation in Phi Mu, the girl would not look at me or make any effort to talk to me and I got dropped the next round. I know a few really nice girls in that house so they aren’t all like that.

But I had the best conversations in kappa, kd, axo, pi phi, aopi, dg, dz, aphi and zeta
the rest were good just not as memorable

SK. as soon as I met my girl she asked for my name and if I had any questions about the house. Then she proceeded to bombard me with information about the house and asked me nothing about myself

The only bad convo I remember was alpha phi, the girl started off by asking about my nail polish and it just went downhill from there. Also in alpha gam it was so loud I don’t think I heard a single word the girl said, not her fault but still.

Also random but I remember at KD they sat me in a really tall chair like a barstool and I had such a hard time getting up in my dress and wedges.

KD - she couldn’t hold a conversation - maybe because I’m OOR and they knew they didn’t want me, but you couldn’t have gotten me out of there faster

Had a bad one at sisterhood in aoii, not because of the girl herself, but because her voice was totally shot it was barely a whisper and the room was so loud and I could not hear anything and then I felt so bad asking her questions because she could barely talk!! It was sad, I liked her vibe I think it would have been a good conversation if she could talk lol

I think part of the reason KD comes off as disinterested is bc a lot of them just don’t care. We all know how involved they are with stuff like homecoming and Greek week (aka not at all), it’s no surprise that a bunch of them would just phone it in during rush. The hometown girls rush the other hometown girls, they round off the PC with some randoms, and it’s cool with them. I think a lot of pnms assume it’s because KD dislikes them for whatever reason but I think it’s cause they just dgaf at all.

Apparently the only match that could have been made for me in Alpha Phi was the only other two brunette girls in the room. For the conversation, it consisted of two girls laughing at me after I said I had a job the previous summer and feeling super uncomfortable and belittled the whole time.

In Tri Delt, the girl would only say ‘how are you’ repeatedly no matter what I said or asked her. I felt like I was talking to a robot programmed to spit out only one sentence.

In some other Old Row houses (I’m OOS) I noticed they would just make very bland conversation mostly talking about the bachelorette and reality TV. I surprisingly had a really great conversation in KD, Alpha Chi, and Chi O though.

I brought up my academics during IWT’s and KKG responded by talking about how they have very little academic requirements and easy majors compared to the other houses trying to talk up their academic standing. I’ve heard a similar experience of this convo from a couple girls.

ZTA made me feel very wanted the entirety of our conversation until the girl looked me dead in the eye right before walking me out and said ‘You would probably want to change your major if you wanted to be in Zeta’ and I was dropped after that round, probably the funniest thing to be said to me during rush.

In GPhi the first girl somehow started talking about Amazon Prime right before getting up and every time a new bump came they said we were just talking about Prime shipping so that was all that ended up getting talked about. Also a very funny experience
