FALL 2020 RUSH GPA

Three questions:
1. I only have a 3.0 gpa, what are my chances of getting into ANY house?? I don’t really care if it’s bottom or top tier, I just want to know if it’s likely that I get into a house at all. I have a pretty good resume with a bunch of volunteer hours and extracurricular activities.
2. Are houses allowed to call you back even if you don’t meet their gpa requirement? I’ve been told that as long as I have a good personality and a great resume and rec letters, I am guaranteed to come back.
3. If specific houses have been following me does that mean they’re interested in me? The AGD house requested to follow me and a bunch of their members did too. A bunch of Chi O’s, Alpha Phi’s, and AOII’s have been following me too and commenting and liking my photos.

Alpha Phi and Chi O and Zeta rush really fing hard. It seems aoii is starting to this year too. I wouldn't get your hopes up for AGD with your GPA. AGD, Alpha Chi, and Chi O are the strictest about GPA requirements and drop anyone who doesn't meet it. They say their requirement is lower than it actually is tbh. Houses follow every girl to get that girl interested in their house, it doesn't necessarily mean they want you, they just want you to want them.
You'll most likely get into a house, especially if you have a good resume and volunteer hours, you will however most likely get dropped from houses with top grades this past year (i.e. Alpha Chi, Alpha Gam, Chi O, DG, AOII, and Tri Delt). GPhi and Alpha Phi were the lowest and will most likely keep you.
Houses can call you back if you don't meet GPA requirements, but you have to have super high ratings in every category but GPA/grades for it to happen. Like I said, it's unlikely Alpha Chi, Chi O, and Alpha Gam will invite you back.

Don’t get your hopes up. It’s not super likely you will get a bid, but that’s okay! You can study really hard your first year, get a 3.8ish or better, and you can prob get a top house if you make friends with girls in that house.
