international rec letters

How do you get a rec letter if you are an international student, I have good grades and involvement, but I don't know how to get rec letters as I don't know anyone in the US

Write a letter and send resume to sorority's Tuscaloosa alumna chapter. Ask if you can meet an alumna via Facetime/Zoom for a recommendation.

Sorority members understand that there aren’t sororities out of the US/Canada and (at least in my sorority) are pretty forgiving if an international student doesn’t have a rec. Especially if you’re cute and have a great accent. Your biggest challenge actually will be convincing chapters you’re going to stay all 4 years. We don’t want to pledge someone who’s going to go home after a semester or 2.
