What’s a no rec?
by: PnmI heard someone mention that no-recs exist. What exactly are they? And what do they decide that you’re a no-rec based on? How can I make sure that one isn’t written for me?

A “no rec” is a rec that does not recommend the PNM for membership. Usually we get them from alums who have not been asked to write one by the PNM, but they know she’s rushing and for some reason do not think she’s fit to be a sister.
It’s usually the result of a bad reputation. Each situation is different and is never taken at face values, our nationals requires us to call the alum who wrote the rec and get more info.
