Rushing as a sophomore transfer

I am transferring to Alabama this fall as a sophomore. I am transferring schools because I went to a smaller school in the north last year and it was boring and nothing like I expected. I plan on rushing this fall but am nervous as I know most sororities are looking for freshman. What are my chances of receiving a bid? Is there anything I can do to stand out? And do the frown upon transfer students?
