Good gpa as a sophomore

If I’m rushing as a sophomore with a 4.0 gpa how much more appealing does that make me?

If you’re outgoing and a good conversationalist and are appropriate, you should do well. Obviously you've shown you can handle college, so that aspect is covered. The next is do you vibe well with the house. Good luck. Get your recs!!!
