Most selective sororities
by: PNMWhat are the hardest sororities to get into and what do they look for in pnms?
#11by: Keep an open mind!
To pnms- drops are not personal, I promise. Strong academics, community service, extracurriculars/leadership positions in hs, and being sweet and cute are things all houses look for, but nothing guarantees you a bid anywhere. No house can really be considered a fall back house here, there are so many amazing pnms every year and each pc can only fit so many girls, and frankly connections are very important for some houses. The point is to say, some girls get dropped by many many houses early into rush, and some girls get dropped after sisterhood before pref. You don't know where you're going to run home until bid day, so try to keep an open mind, even if a certain sorority seems like a "perfect match" to you, try to see the strengths in every house you visit every round because you could get a bid from any one of them.

Here is pretty much the top five of 95% of what the PNM's have on their ranking sheet after first round.
XO, AXO, ZTA, Phi Mu, KKG
Than you see Tri Delt, AGD, KD and ADII
Next is a mix of these in the top ten in the 2,3,4 and 5 spots- DZ, Gamma Phi, PPhi, Alpha Phi and DG.
These three are usually at the bottom for 95% of the PNM's- Sigma Kappa , Theta and AoII.
As recruitment progresses things change but AXO, XO, Zeta, Phi Mu and KAppa have had the highest return rates the past few years causing them to make more cuts each round. Things start to level off after sisterhood and becomes more of what percentage of PNM"S they get back for Pref and BId DAy with in quota range. These chapters usually have the higher percentages for that- XO, AXO, ZTA, Kapp, Phi Mu and ADII. Numbers do show that XO has had the best recruitment the last 2 years.
I was in a mid tier sorority. The rankings on here are ridiculous. Phi Mu is not superior to any house and honestly AXO and XO are way better . Also in terms of recruitment and percentages they are equal to Zeta.

Basically just STAY POSITIVE! Focus on the houses that invite you back, forget about the ones that don’t.
