Top 5 Sororities
by: ALAXO, AGD, XO, DDD, and KKG are the top 5. KD, Phi Mu, and Zeta are the next best, but aren’t top right now, but that could change with 1 or 2 PC’s.

I didn’t get dropped from a single house all of rush, so I went to all the old row houses for sisterhood. For me at least, those 5 gave me way better pairings and attention than the other houses. I liked phi Mu and KD too, I just didn’t vibe with them as much, but my roomate preffed KD over Kappa, so I think it just depends on the girl.

Kappa IS a top house, especially for girls in Alabama. They are strong nationally, so they have a good reputation for a lot of girls from all over.
AGD has a strong pull in Alabama ( same as KD) and in the south.
If KKG, AGD, or KD aren’t your top 5, that’s fine. But, they are houses that are very, very strong at UA.
All our houses are full of amazing women.

Is that why Zeta does COB then? top houses don’t beg for girls to sign up to be in their house

Top houses don’t do COB and that’s bc they are top. Yeah a bunch do and that’s bc they aren’t top houses.

Top houses, houses with great sisterhood and houses that are financially stable DO NOT COB. Their numbers don’t allow for them to take to chapter total because those houses SET chapter total. If they have some spots, they don’t NEED to fill them for financial reasons.

Give it up KD, alpha gam and kappa have had way better rushes the past 2 years. KD gave snap bids out, they did not do COB

Zetas are the prettiest and that's pretty well known. Not saying that's so important- but that's reality.

Kinda confused why there is so much hype around Kappa. They don't really do anything on campus and I rarely even see girls wearing their letters. They seem to have a great alumni base so its confusing to me why they're so uninvolved and frankly forgettable. Their insta is so 2012...idk it just doesn't make sense to me. They could very easily be top but in my opinion, kinda get left behind.

Zeta! Stop being so insecure about your house! Be happy with your place and love your sisters! You shouldn’t give a damn that your not top tier. Those other houses are top because their members genuinely love it and don’t drop out. Please look at your retention rate and work on it so you don’t have to take COB girls

AGD and Kappa were definitely more desired than phi Mu and KD this past year. KD gave out snaps and phi Mu lost a lot of the looks they had going for them.

You all KNOW that if you went through recruitment and these houses were on your invite back card for future rounds you would be stoked. These, along with PiPhi, ADPi and (depending on the year or the scandal) APhi, are houses that put on great rushes. There are girls that every girl can vibe with in all the other houses, but these houses wow PNM’s during recruitment and verify the dreaded “tent talk”.
