pre-recruitment process for active members
by: hopeful rusherHey all! I'm concerned on what exactly goes on pre-rush experience in the house. I've heard many things on how houses "Stalk" PNMs beforehand and want to know whats true. I've heard members begin following girls that are rushing on instagram and stalking them to see what they're like. I've also heard that sometimes people with higher level in a house will put together a powerpoint with PNMs name and picture and ask current members if they know them, and make them share in front of the whole chapter whether they think those people are "worthy" or not. is this true? does this actually go on at Bama chapters during recruitment?

All true. There are so many girls going through that they have to start early to get to know the girls and thus be able to make quick decisions during recruitment as to who to invite back to the next round of parties.
The power point thing IS often done, as well as mini-posters all over the house. It's an effort to get members to recognize most desired PNMs so they get first-class treatment. As a PNM, though, there's nothing to fear about this. Be flattered! They want to remember you and treat you well!
