ranks and explanations pt 3

I’m baaaack ;) you know you love me.
After a full semester and a half into the year, I can safely rank houses with certainty.
TOP OF THE TOP:
AXO, XO, DDD
These houses had an incredible rush and have incredible members and grades. XO definitely moved up, while AXO & DDD both remain at the top. These girls are well rounded with grades, involvement, socials, looks, etc.
LOWER TOP:
KD, KKG, AGD, PM, ZTA
Phi mu could definitely move up, but they took an off pc this year. KD and KKG both had horrible rush weeks considering how well they usually do. AGD had an incredible rush! They went from practically 100% irrelevant to actually taking high profile pnms from kkg and kd. Like the top, these girls are well rounded in all areas. “They are only lower top” due to their rush (except agd). ZTA has undoubtedly become the #1 looks house. Room for improvement with grades and reputations but besides that, they are definitely best of the best in NR.
UPPER MIDDLE:
PBP, APHI
These houses are looks houses who are focused 100% on socials. Love to party and have a good time but lack in grades and reps. PBP had to COB for the first time in years due to drop rates, meanwhile aphi is at the top of their game for getting really good gdi cob’s. Aphis grades fell again so I could see them moving down, but in general fraternities love these girls and want them at their parties.
LOWER MIDDLE:
AOII, ADPI, GPHI
Aoii and gphi continue to be on the come up! Good for them for taking their trendy initiative and applying it. Definitely did way better this year than most. Adpi is unfortunately on the come down, they had few high profile pnms but still great grades. These houses just need to improve a little bit in certain areas!
BOTTOM:
SK, DZ, KAT
These houses suffer every year due to poor leadership and a week rush. SK is different because they’re new. I’m hopeful for them. As for theta and dz, you can only hope they improve in every aspect.

These ranks are pretty accurate, but not perfect obviously. Tri Delt is not considered a top house (dropped in the grade report this year and has had a few scandals) and XO doesn’t really belong to that top row either (but everyone already knows that). Truthfully, you could combine the top two rows as TOP houses here at UA. They pull solid pnms based off of what they are looking for as a chapter and are more relevant on campus than the houses listed below those two rows.

Every house here is a good house; however, the houses in the first two rows tend to have a larger selection of pnms to choose from due to desirability and are more prominent on campus as of now.
