cob

Is this mandatory COB really going to work? The CW keeps talking about it but not a single sorority or Panhellenoc officer has clarified when and how this events will take place. They keep repeating the same things but no new detailed information has bee released

Won't work. UA admin will have to force the issue and with all of the national press, they probably will have no choice.

While they have opened up COB, usually with COB, a sorority can choose whether or not they want to offer a bid to someone. And typically the one's who participate are the groups whose numbers are lower. So in the end, it's all smoke and mirrors.

Pretty sure if they don't offer a bid to more girls--and some of them of color--there will be other changes/ramifications mandated. This is what they were told. The regular COB rules do not apply. You thing UA wants more bad press out of this?

only people allowed to mandate rules and "quota" would be their nationals. The university can't tell them who to add to their group (watch the Judy Bonner video she sent out recently--she explains that)

This has created an even bigger mess. Maybe a better solution would be allow this class to go through with additional training and learn how to deal with these recruitment issues next season. Sounds like advisors and alumni need to take a giant step back and let this next generation of girls handle it.

Sounds like everyone could use more training and hope the national organizations provide it. despite the uproar, it is a great opportunity to learn and update policies and procedures to keep this from happening again.

It will "work" or there will be a new solution mandated.
