the machine's getting sued

by: lol

Remember that local election in August where if you voted you got free drinks? Welp, the losing candidate's suing for voter fraud. And you know that the Machine is gonna have to turn over a lot of docs during discovery. A lot of docs that could f a lot of people over if they're brought to light. And when a story's in the NY Times, that means it's a national story, one that the admin can't just sweep under the rug without the media or nationals cracking down.

Thanks for this information, it's not like 100% of people already knew about this already.

The Machine, if it even exists, is everlasting. It will not be destroyed or weakened in any way, try as one might.

You're vastly overestimating "the Machine". It's just a bunch of kids.

She isn't suing the machine... You can't sue an organization like that. Besides, it won't go anywhere. The people voted for who they though would represent their values/interests best. They live here, they can vote for anyone they want regardless of whether some old lady throws a hissy fit about it. It's a free country afterall.

What many people don't know is that both candidates came into all the greek houses to campaign.... The woman that lost actually tried selling herself to us by telling us all she was an Alpha Gam in college, gave us a bunch of handouts, told us to register to vote, and that they "hoped to see us at the polls". If she truly thought we shouldn't have voted then why did she come and campaign at our houses?
