I doubt if it’s AOPi “nationals”. Every early spring semester there is a slight surge in bashing for sororities that are doing COB. I suspect AOPi and AP are doing COB, thus the recent comparisons to other respected houses. AOPi is a fine house. But, they are not as highly regarded as AGD or AXO. AP is a fine house. But, they are not as highly regarded as ZTA or PM ( both ZTA and PM did spring COB’s while they were building their new houses and shortly after they were built). Spring COB’s are not a bad thing for the girls getting in. However, it shines a light on houses that have a higher turnover and it carries a negative feeling that these houses “needed” to do COB for money. Spring COB is still selective. Just, stop with the over-hype and the bashing and it will go better for everyone. No need to knock other houses down to try to make your place seem better.

Zeta, AOPI, and ADPi are eligible for COB now. So are APhi, GPhi, DZ and Sigma Kappa same as fall. It shines a light on the houses that lose members and can't keep numbers up to total.
