house types grouped

by:    

No tank intended description of house types.

AXO, XO, and AGD: very southern, Christian, and conservative houses. Focused on grades and involvement.

KKG and KD: Southern, but more from larger cities. Generally wealthier, less conservative and less religious than above. KKG a bit more open geographically. KD focused on its type/locales.

DDD, ZTA and PiPhi - very similar memberships - fun,
Social and outgoing. Give DDD a slight nod for grades and southern; ZTA for looks and PiPhi a bit more chill. But despite subtle distinctions all seem similar.

PM - southern pageant. Stands alone as very “appearance” focused House that is a bit uptight.

APhi, GPhi, DZ - grouped as looks socially focused less southern houses. But more random membership than the DDD, ZTA and PiPhi group

ADPi, DG AOPi: Nice girls with an out of state and out of region focus.

Theta - independent minded girls.

SK - new and developing.

I would not put DDD with ZTA and Pi Phi. More KD and KKG to me with some XO thrown in.

DDD hard to pin down. Some crazy “hos”; Some crazy competitive; not Alabama high school focused; not like KD/KKG; not Christian; old row;
with out of state and out of region.... .

They stand alone - members who all have “something”‘without having a theme.

This is pretty good.

I agree PM stands a bit apart - generally a broad southern geography and particularly focused on “good zip codes”. “Shops at Nordstrom”, lol.

I’d also put DDD Separately. Don’t agree it’s with KD/KKG and it’s also not exactly like ZTA/PiPhi. They have a variety of types, who could have went to other “top” houses, including OR and top of NR. Agree, no other house has quite their mix of girls.

DDD is a great example of a house branching out and changing with the times. They used to be virtually identical to KD and Kappa as far as focusing on zip codes, high schools, and legacies.

I’d put 1/2 of chi o with AXO and AGD and 1/2 with Tri Delt. They have a mixed bag of girls, which can be a great thing!
