How does a guy avoid only getting bids from bottom tier Fraternities?

This is all you need to know: Wear an OLD ROW tank top and cargo shorts to rush events, the lower tier groups will know you are off limits.

Since Fraternity rush is not formal and most bids are extended during late spring and summer it is really about who you know in the particular house. If you know a member reach out to them and let them know you are interested in rushing, contact the rush chair for the house so you can get invited to a summer rush event. You will get one shot and making a great impression so make it count.
