what gpa does aphi and gphi expect?

Neither is a top house but neither is desperate for girls either. Aphi is apparently trying to get girls with better GPAs at least, but I'm not sure what their cut off will be.

Neither house has good grades but this last recruitment G Phi was trying hard to recruit for more academic girls. A Phi was trying to reclaim their spot as good looking but with the worst grades. They lost their goodlooking status a couple of years ago when their Nationals cleaned out the house and made them recruit different girls. So they're struggling and maybe their grades will improve. As for being popular with fraternities, they were in the past but not as much last year or this year.

not true had a 2.6 and had them all the way to sisterhood before not putting them in my top 2 for pref

Perhaps you didn't go through recruitment at Alabama. Your story is obviously faked to people who go here but for the poor little pnm asking about grades, it might give her hope where none really exists.

Look in Greek Chic. Panhellenic posted numbers on the average number of invitations by round based on GPA.
With a 2.8 you are down to 2 houses on average after the first cuts going into Philanthropy round. The max is 12!
The average GPA for girls with a full card at Philanthropy is 3.96. The numbers show how invitations by round track to GPA and a full card is rare with under a 3.5.
I can’t see anyone getting to preference with two houses and having options after sisterhood with a 2.6.
