what is the sorority initiation/ ritual process like at bama? i don’t get why it’s such a secret and you can’t tell anyone about anything

Every sorority has their own initiation and ritual. They are secret because you're only supposed to know if you're invited into the sisterhood. It's what makes it special.

Bama sororities are chapters of national organizations that follow the same rituals as all of their other national chapters, just as they have for the past 100+ years.

Yes they actually do share the same initiation and rituals. And it's actually awesome when you meet a total stranger who is in your chapter at another school and you both know all these secret stuff.
