i’m transferring next year and really want to rush! my GPA is 2.9 and i’m good with getting a bid? what are my chances

Alphi has a 2.9 GPA. You will be fine. Grades are not important.

i had a 2.8 while i rushed and i received 5 bids make sure you have recommendations and you're active on your social

That is so encouraging! I will have a 2.9 when I enter Alabama in the fall, and I’m really nervous about rush. I went to a very rigorous private high school. I have some friends in sororities, so I’m hoping that will help.

You don't have a GPA yet if you are a freshman. If you are a sophomore, no, you won't get a bid with that GPA going thru next year as a junior.

You have a 2.9 NOW? Then you haven’t yet completed this fall 2019 semester or the spring 2020 semester. Both offer GREAT opportunities to raise Your GPA above a 3.0.

So quit worrying about your chances now and WORK to vastly improve them by raising your GPA above a 3.0. That puts you in a much better position.
