I don't know but I think it would be a better bet than some of these flakey freshmen we are getting! We could see their college performance and leadership.

Nope. Rules state for undergrads only. Plus I can't imagine a 22+ year old college grad being in a new member class with a bunch of 18 year olds straight out of high school. Nothing whatsoever in common with each other and making friends with the older actives is out of the question because they already have their well established friend groups, if they are even still around. There's nothing really for a grad student in a sorority. Guys have it a bit different though. It could work for them.

Isn't grad school very time consuming and you have to be really academically focused? What would anyone think they would get out of joining a sorority in grad school?

My sorority's constitution specifies undergraduate women. I guess they might be able to come in under the alumnae initiate program. Might be nice, especially if they are already involved in mentoring members.

Alumnae initiation is generally granted to women who are already involved somehow in helping the sorority. They either donate money or give a lot of time helping out somehow in a specific way, like house mothers or mothers of initiates who go way above and beyond. That's very different than a grad student who wants to come onto campus and have the college sorority experience. Not realistic for either sorority life or grad school life. I don't know a grad student who would have any time to contribute to a chapter.
