tut closing ?????????

On my tour last May we were told freshmen would not be made to live on campus because Tut was closing so housing options may be limited but in my acceptance paper work it states freshmen must live on campus.Was the info from the tour bad info?

They must provide enough space for all freshman to live. I hear that they might either turn certain dorms that are all grades like Presidential and Riverside to freshman only temporarily.

My freshman year we were allowed to live off campus because (due to construction and large class size) there were literally not enough beds for it to be a requirement. It would not surprise me if that happens again when tut closes since it houses almost 1000 girls and the average freshman class is like 6000. My guess would be that the paperwork is standard for each year and they just haven’t updated it.

I don’t think tut is closing. They aren’t tearing dow the old until the new is finished.

Yeah I think this is how they’re doing it. Kinda crazy considering how big the new building is but as the person above said there would be no place to put a thousand girls
