The rank of houses does not depend solely on how lovely their instas are. Doesn't depend on how beautiful or skinny their members are. Rank of houses depends on which houses the girls pick for themselves during recruitment week. If they consistently pick one house above another, the first house is higher ranked. Houses pick girls based on things you can't see on insta like social connections, activities, academics, etc. I agree that all the houses here are great and that only the cream of the Bama crop ends up in the greek community. But stop talking exclusively about looks.

The thing is no one knows what each other person is ranking on. The alums are ranking on tradition and perceived social status, the meemaws and mommas are ranking on reputation and family connections, the PNMs are ranking on instas, the trolls are ranking on scandals. The girls in the houses are ranking on involvement, grades, and social life. The machine members are ranking on fear. Yes, the ranks are nonsense. The only people on campus who actually care are those who don't do anything else and have nothing else in their life except for their sorority.
