dke pledging

I got a bid to DKE and want to join but heard they are notorious for hazing bad. Is there any truth to this? I want to pledge but kinda scared.
Don't like scary things.

they definitely haze but the reason pledges dont drop is because most of the chapter knew each other from their private old money southern high schools. theyre used to this type of hazing i assume.

DKE is very protected by the University for hazing. They extremely haze but their power in the state protects them from sanctions. If you are in state and willing to put up with their hazing go for it, otherwise don't.

Yup. But to be fair, a lot of people who rush dke probably knew how tough dke hazing is. a lot of the dke pc came from the same alabama schools. a good amount were most likely legacies too.
