OP again, how this ranking was constructed to reflect the current strengths and weaknesses of our houses now and shows the following weights:

The current COB houses are pushed lower.

Houses with retention issues are ranked lower.

As grades/academic competitiveness becomes more important, houses with higher GPA are pushed up.

As OOS becomes a factor, high ranked nationals were considered and boosted.

Reputations and scandals were considered.

Look over the list and ask which houses would be dragged down by the weaknesses listed above, and which would be lifted by the strengths considered. If you think otherwise, review last few years of grade reports and then look at this ranking again.

AXO and PM not particularly strong nationally. I think you are over emphasizing grades. Also PM did not have a great PC this year or last. I think these two houses are over-hyped on this site.

Tbh, as Bama becomes more competitive, especially bringing in very high academic performers via scholarships, grades will be stressed even more. Top sororitys will have top scholars and high GPA averages.

I do agree with most of this list, although I would probably push alpha gam up for grades and zeta down for grades, con, and retention. I wish people would stop putting AXO first every time just because it’s alphabetical. They are good, but NOT consistently number one.

XO is not that high. They are a top house like the rest of old row, but it’s still mostly the same MS girls that they get

AXO is a mid-range strong sorority, but not on same level as AP, DG, KAT, XO, and KKG.

Of all the rankings flying around, I like this one. Can see how rank was put together using OPs explanations.

I also would switch AGD and Zeta.
