friends ???????

Some of the girls in your nm class will already be friends because they have some connections. Maybe high school, camp, dorm, parents, classes, etc. Maybe you'll end up being good friends with them eventually, but for now, look around for someone else who is kind of alone. Talk to her. Get to know her. If there are several, get to know them all and be a leader. Call your new friends to get coffee or study, or whatever. I guarantee there is someone else who isn't already friends with everybody.

Keep going to stuff and keep talking to people AND @1's right, be an organizer and invite others along. Have fun ideas in mind when you go to house events, then while talking to others, throwing out that you are going to x and then them to go along. Sure, people are busy and sometimes there are no takers to your offers, but you will get yesses too. Do this enough times and you will find friends that say yes all the time..
